Jeff’s heading to Australia for Team USA…with your help!
Huntington Beach native and Edison High School sophomore Jeff Hass competed this summer at the US Lifesaving National Championships in Virginia Beach, Virginia and earned a spot on TEAM USA in the worldwide competition set to take place this November in Australia.
Jeff became involved with the Huntington State Beach Junior Guard program when he was nine and he’s won the national title before, but this year he’s eligible for the WORLD competition.
Currently, Jeff works as a Junior Guard Aid for the State Beach Junior Guard program and competes in Cross Country & Track at Edison where he’s an honor student.
The Hass family is reaching out to the community for help funding airfare and accommodations so Jeff can afford to attend the week-long World Championships in Australia. They hope to raise $10,000 and any donations collected in excess of that amount will be donated to the Huntington State Beach Junior Guard program. Please share with friends, family, business owners…anyone willing to help Jeff and Junior Lifeguard Program!
