Get Irvington a grocery store!

Hi, my name is Jessee and I am opening a refill & grocery store in Irvington, a suburb of Indianapolis, but I need your help! Your donations will go directly to the buildout of turning a beloved flower shop into a neighborhood hub for wellness of mind, body & spirit...and there will be like, a TON of vegetables :)

I believe that the places we go to shop for our food should be so much more than what we are currently offered. Row after row of plastic tubs full of food we likely know nothing about beyond what the label claims. Food that has traveled half way across the globe before making its way to us, losing nutrient density as it travels and filled with preservatives to allow it to sit on the shelves as long as possible.

What if our food came from right here, in Indiana? What if every dollar spent was supporting a local farmer or creator or upholding a higher environmental standard? What if those plastic bottles we throw away month after month, instead got refilled and reused and all of us took steps towards a more sustainable lifestyle. This is all possible with a refill and locally & consciously sourced grocery store.

If the thought of diving into a healthier and more environmentally friendly lifestyle feels daunting and intimidating, you're not alone. There never seems to be enough time in the day to just get basic things done, let alone figuring out how to cook with more food that makes YOU feel good and create less waste. That's why Flora will be more than a place to shop, but also a place to learn. Free community classes will be available on topics like nutrition, incorporating more vegetables into meal time, why local is better, meditation and so much more.

Please help me bring this passion project to life and encourage progress, not perfection, in a judgement free space full of passion for the wellness of this amazing neighborhood and our planet.
