Get Iman to the world games

I am Iman ‘PrettyKiller’ Barlow from Melton Mowbray, England. I have been training Muay Thai since I was 4 years old.

I have the opportunity to represent Great Britain in the World games in Muay Thai. This is in Alabama (USA) in July 7th-17th 2022.

The World Games are an international multi-sport event comprising sports and sporting disciplines that are not contested in the Olympic Games. They are usually held every four years, one year after a Summer Olympic Games, over the course of 11 days.The hosts expect around 3,600 athletes from over 100 countries. In 2017 Thai boxing  was an invitational sport; in 2022 this martial arts sport will be part of the official programme for the first time.

 I am the first athlete to ever qualify after winning the gold medal at the IFMA world games in Thailand. My aim is to raise £4000 in order to cover costs for myself and Mark Barlow my coach and father. The money will be going towards our flights, accommodation, food, tracksuits and the whole trip.

I understand this is a lot of money but am greatful for anything being donated to help towards the costs of a once in a life time opportunity. I have had over 120 professional fights in my fight career with 100+ junior fights also. This is something I am so passionate about and can’t wait to represent my country and bring home gold ❤️
