Get Dale back on his feet

Our dear friend Dale has recently experienced a devastating loss – his home, his belongings, his car and the beloved Ahaha Bar have all been consumed by a tragic fire. Luckily, Dale is ok.

As Dale's community, we are rallying together to support him to rebuild his personal belongings.

For those who know Dale, you understand that he is not just a friend, but a pillar of our music scene and an absolute legend of kindness and generosity. Dale has always been the first to lend a helping hand and often the last person standing when the help is happening. Whether it's setting up for a gig, helping you move house, offering a listening ear, sharing a coldie or simply spreading joy with his infectious smile.

Dale has poured his heart to the Hobart/ Oz music scene, where he's become a cherished figure. Outside gigs and band practice, he finds solace in the waves, surfing whenever he can and one of the first things we need to sort is getting him a new board.

Dale faces the daunting task of rebuilding his life from the ground up, so we are asking for your support.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in helping Dale get back on his feet. He has lost so many irreplaceable things, his momentos and cherished items including all the band shirts, his records, board games, surfboards, tools, books and zines. Your contribution will go towards providing Dale with the essentials he needs to start rebuilding his life.
