Get Brisbane Kings Inline Hockey a new home

We are a not for profit sporting club for Inline Hockey (a bit like ice hockey but on wheels) in Brisbane, Australia. Our home used to be the Stafford Skate Centre, which recently, sadly, closed down.

Our club is reaching out to the community to assist us with trying to find a new home prior to the recommencement of the season early inn 2022, so the clock is ticking! We are seeking assistance with fitting out a facility to make it suitable for our awesome sport; including items like:

Players from the Brisbane Kings Inline Hockey Club currently represent Queensland and Australia. Many of our players play for Queensland and compete in National championships around the country; typically representing the majority of the State team composition. Many of our players play for Australia and complete in world championships around the world; typically with multiple members in each age division.

The club has many teams in many age groups;

- U9’s girls & boys - Over 15 Senior B women and men

- U11’s girls & boys - Over 15 Senior A women and men

- U13’s girls & boys - Over 15 Senior AA women and men

- U16’s girls & boys - Over 15 Super League women and men

- U23 Junior A women and men

Our junior divisions completed a clean sweep in the 2019 Grand Finals, winning in all age groups. 2020 Grand Finals were skipped because of a very reduce season due to COVID restrictions. Rising from the lockdowns though, we came out strongly in the recent 2021 season, winning all ages groups except for U9 with a respectable loss to the awesome West Logan Rangers.

Our club promotes an inclusive culture and enjoys the largest representation of female members amongst our peer Inline Hockey clubs. Our view that “it takes a village” to develop well rounded children provides for positive male and female role models to our members. We value respect and instil this into our members; respect for themselves, their parents, the coaching staff and other officials, spectators and, importantly, the opposition players.

All donations, large and small, are greatly appreciated. A 'cup of coffee' donation from many in the community rapidly adds up.
