Hello, my name is Isabella Ferreira, and you can call me Bella. I am a senior at Broadneck High School in Annapolis, Maryland. I am an artist hoping to attend art school in the fall. I am creating this campaign to ask for donations towards supporting me in my impassioned journey of going to art school. I have grown up basing nearly everything I do around the arts. As a senior, I have taken classes at my community college to get some credits out fo the way for art school. Anne Arundel Community College has great art classes. Yet, I was placed in the highest level class for the kind of art that I would like to study in college. Thus, I am seeking opportunities to study visual arts more rigorously at a university.
I recently won a Gold Key from Scholastic for the state of Maryland for the following piece of art:
My mom and dad have given me everything they can, and I can’t thank them enough for all the challenges they went through that got me to where I am able to be today; however, there is a limit as to how much financial support they can give me. I have now made it my mission to do everything in my power to find the funds to get to a college that will develop me fully in every aspect of becoming an influential artist that will make a positive impact on the world.
I have been working endlessly applying for scholarships and grants to stack up monetary opportunities to fund my higher education. Yet, I still don’t have enough, given the exorbitant cost of art programs.

Yearly tuition of prospective schools I have applied for range from $30,000 to $77,000, and, even if I win every scholarship and grant I applied for, I won't have enough funds to attend college in the fall.
