Hello,
My name is Andrea and I am a 22-year-old international student, originally from Bulgaria, who needs your help to achieve a life-long dream. Since I was little, I have always been eager to learn: learn how to read, how to write, and how the world works. This passion has not left me for a single day and has helped me get accepted to do a Master’s program at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which has been ranked #2 in the world for social sciences and management . I will be part of this department, following the Organisational Behavior Stream of the MSc Human Resources and Organisations program . So far, I have graduated at the top of my class from the American College of Sofia, and I will soon be completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Leiden University in the Netherlands. I had always known that I want to pursue higher education at one of the best universities in the world and my hard work has finally paid off.
When we received the good news, mid-May, my family and I were completely overjoyed. However, there is one big obstacle to overcome before I get to begin my journey: a tuition fee of 29,345€ (25,224£), which I need to collect by the start of the academic year, the 20th of September. For evidence of my admission and tuition fee amount, please see below. While studying in the Netherlands, I used to work and I will continue to do so, but due to the high workload at LSE and some UK visa restrictions, I will not be able to save tuition money and provide for myself at the same time. I have also not been awarded any financial help from the Graduate Support Scheme offered by LSE. My family has always been there for me, but due to the current pandemic it is impossible for them to support me now.
