Help a friend leave an unsafe home

Thank you for taking the time to consider donating to this GoFundMe! Below are further details on what is going on and why money is needed, but the TL;DR is that a close family friend is living in an unsafe house and needs to move ASAP. This is coupled with the need for a reliable vehicle, which is especially necessary as they look for a new job. For their privacy in this unimaginably difficult situation, we will be keeping this anonymous, which is why I am setting it up on their behalf.
What happened?
In the past few years, a close family friend of ours has been watching their home fall apart around them and has been unable to afford the increasingly costly repairs. The ceiling has been falling in in a few areas, as shown in the photos below.
This has caused unexpected damage to their personal items and allowed additional water damage to come in. They are having to set up multiple buckets around the house to catch water that continues to get in and cause more sections to become unstable.
They have also been experiencing issues with outlets, which have become so old and damaged that things don't stay plugged in and have started sparking due to falling out partially. Especially with pets around, this is a fire hazard that has stopped them from using their outlets and made it difficult to have heaters plugged in when needed.
On top of this, what cannot be easily photographed is the severe water damage and rot occurring under their single bathroom. Upon inspection about a year ago, it was discovered that the entire bathroom is unsafe and would need to be totally replaced, due to the rotted supports below it. This would of course be an extremely costly repair that wouldn't be worth the money, considering the other issues in the home that are making it increasingly unlivable. Every time they go to shower, they feel the growing soft spots and risk the floor caving in while they are in there.
Aside from the house issues, they are struggling to find reliable, good-paying work in their area, as they are limited by their unreliable car. The car is in need of multiple costly repairs as well, and at this point, they are hoping to get a different car to avoid sinking more money into an old car. Anyone that has been in a situation with an unreliable car knows how stressful and scary it can be to know it could break down at any second, and it is preventing them from expanding their job search to a wider area.
What is needed/what is going to be done with the money raised?
We all know that times are especially tough due to COVID-19, and many people are struggling. I understand that not everyone will have something to give, but if you can, every little bit helps. As we approach colder weather and go through rainy/snowy seasons that only make this home more dangerous, we are hoping to raise as much money as we can as soon as possible. The money from the fundraiser will go to help them get a new car and, more importantly, get a down payment for a new mobile home. We should all be guaranteed a safe home and transportation, but unfortunately, many are forced to live without those things by no fault of their own.
