Geston Family

As some of you may know Christopher and Angel Geston were involved in a car accident on 6/9/2017. Unfortunately Chris got the impact and is not doing so well.  Angel has been released from the hospital but Christopher is currently in ICU.  He is sedated with a breathing tube to assist him due to collapsed lung. He has a broken leg, broken ribs, kidneys are not functioning properly,he has had blood transfusions, due to all the fluid intake it has thinned out his blood. He had 1 surgery on his leg they put 4 screws and a Rod. They will be performing surgery Wednesday on his broken Ribs because  his lung is stuck between his ribs. He is not awake he is very heavily sedated with medication so he is not able to communicate at all. He has a very long time until recovery as of now we are wanting to see improvement. These first few days a LOT of new complications are surfacing but his body is reacting to all the trauma it's going through. They also will be doing An MRI to check his neck for any possible fractures breaks etc. He does have fractures to his spine. Right now the main concern is his breathing and the struggle and stress his body is going through trying to do so. His kidneys because they are not producing enough urine. Temporary dyalisis was mentioned but not needed at this point, and his broken ribs due to pressure on his lungs. I'm hoping that we can assist my Sister in law Bernadette with any expenses that will come her way as well as her taking off of work. She eventually will also need transportation because they only had one vehicle. Anyone who knows my brother knows he is a loving man and will do anything for anyone!!
