Gessel's Survive and Thrive Fund

Gessel was having a typical day at school until she felt ill and went to the nurse's office. Little did she know she had an AVM (a congenital disorder of a mass of abnormal veins and arteries) growing in her head. It ruptured causing a massive brain bleed. Gessel fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital where she underwent extensive surgery to stop the bleeding. Part of her skull was removed and time will tell how much damage was done to her brain. Gessel has a long road ahead with more surgeries and physical therapy. This fund will help provide the family with gas to and from the hospital physical therapy and assist in moving to a new apartment to accommodate Gessel when she gets home in the future.
