Gerald Mederos Support Fund

So for those of you that know our friend Gerald "Gerry" Mederos from Bristol RI, whether it be from The Bristol Fourth of July Commitee, The Bristol Elks Club, The Bristol Fire Department, or from one of the many Drum & Bugle Corps he has played with like the RI Matadors, the Generations or the Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni than you know what kind of man he is. He's a husband, father, grandpa ,a great friend to many, a talented cook, the first one who has always stepped up when someone's in need or in trouble. You would also know that he has been plagued by serious health issues since 2004. Due to these issues he's currently in a horrible state , Gerry and his family need all the help they can !

Gerry has been in a hospital in Hudson , Florida  since becoming seriously ill the week of Thanksgiving while visiting friends. He was rushed to the hospital and had two major life threatening surgeries since. He is still in the ICU and has a very long road ahead of him. Doctors are not sure how long the healing process is going to take, saying it could take up to a year. The focus remains on getting him pain free and stronger. So while the immediate future remains uncertain we  know what is clear ,Gerry and  his wife need our help. Let's help get him back home where he belongs.
