Gerry Oberbroeckling’s Accident

Hello! My name is Lisa Meis.

I am putting this GoFundMe page together for my brother, Gerry Oberbroeckling, to help him out with medical bills that he is accumulating after an accident.

On Monday, June 21, 2021 Gerry fell at work and has many, many injuries that will slow him down drastically for the months ahead.  Gerry was hauled to the Manchester Hospital by ambulance and then airlifted to the University of Iowa Trauma Unit due to his serious injuries.  Gerry has multiple skull fractures and has 2 brain bleeds.  He also has broken ribs, broken shoulder blade and a punctured lung.  His right side of his body really took a beating.  He has limited use to his right arm. He will have to learn how to use it all again to fish, hunt, play darts and shoot pool! 

Gerry is a kind and gentle guy, and would do ANYTHING to help others out....you all know this!  I’m sure he will be back to helping others out again when he is able to.

We are requesting prayers for a speedy recovery along with positive vibes as he transitions through these injuries.  Please do what you can do to help Gerry out.  I will be administering all donations and handing the funds over to Gerry as soon as he said he’s ready!  Thank you!
