There are so many words to describe Gerie...

...but none of these words can fully encapsulate the way he made you feel about yourself. He was the best at making you feel welcome and valid. He was the best at making you comfortable and making things that seem hard, seem within reach. He did all of this without any prerequisites and simply because he was a fantastic person. To be fantastic means to be "extraordinarily good", but also "remote from reality". Anyone who has met him can tell you that it truly has been a rare blessing to have known someone like Gerie.
On Monday, April 30th, 2018 heaven gained a member for their welcoming crew. He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife Tina Carlos, and their beautiful children Gena, Samantha and Elijah.
On behalf of his family, we ask that you consider helping with the costs of Gerie's memorial services.
