Georgia's wish

Friends of ours, Adam and Nicola LeBlowitz previously of Pentland, have been given some devastating news about their 9 year old daughter Georgia. For the last 17 months they have been trying multiple treatments down in Brisbane to help Georgia get back to her healthy self. Georgia needed a bone marrow transplant to cure Aplastic Anemia. This treatment was successful, however she incured multiple complications. The most serious being Graft vs Host disease. This disease has caused Georgia to now have a chronic life threatening lung disease. Doctors have exhausted all treatment options so far and regretfully none of them have worked. Georgia is now on full time oxygen and has entered the palliative care stage of her journey. The LeBlowitz family would like to try their best to give Georgia her greatest wishes while she is well enough to do enjoy them. Keeping up with her cousins and being part of the kids world is still very important to her. Adam has also ceased work at this point in time to spend as much quality time with Georgia as possible.
