Georgia tornado destroyed our home

Hey many of you know me , some of you dont. It saddens my heart to even have to write any of this. My name is Kristina , I have two kids , Jasmine Hinds and Kairo Bright. We recently moved to GA in 2021 , after living in New York for a while. We just settled in to our first beautiful home & would have been celebrating our 2nd year living inside of it this coming May. But sadly , & I hate that I have to even to do this , on Thursday , Jan 12th , Georgia was hit with a very bad tornado & storm. A tornado that unfortunately made its way towards my town. At 4:56pm I received the worst call I could have probably ever received in my life while I was at work. A call that I would have never expected.

While I was at work , my 8 year old son (who has autism) was in my bed watching tv , and my cousin was just falling asleep to take a nap in the living room. My daughter was just on her way home from school. The normal nothing out of the blue.

When all of a sudden the tornado hit our home and took the one thing I worked so hard to for Me & my babies house. Causing severe and unfixable damage to the home. 

Thankfully just 2 seconds before my son decided to get up and go tell my cousin that the lights were flickering really bad. Because had my baby not have done that , he would have been on the bed in my room where a over 300ft tree fell right through my house It hit us so bad , causing SO much damage to the house. A total of 6 over 300ft trees from the woods have fallen on our house , causing our roof and walls to cave in , a tremendous flood and severe damages to our belongings. Our deck is completely torn off the side of our home , a huge tree is through the roof of my bedroom & there is a tree through my kitchen dining room. There is water , glass and damages everywhere. Though I am terrible sadden by this unfortunate event , I am very blessed that we are all alive. Things like this only happen in movies , at least so I thought.

Sadly , this has caused my children and I to be forced out of our house , and practically homeless until things can be figured out . The house cannot be repaired due to alllllll the damage & the conpany has decided to take the house down and not rebuild. Leaving me and my two to figure things out.  So many of our things broken , lost and damaged. Clothes , shoes , electronics , furniture etc. If anybody could please find it in there hearts to help us during this hard , traumatizing and emotional time , I truly thank you , anything helps , anything counts , anything is appreciated. As of right now we have little to nothing. I thank god for watching over my family during this unfortunate time. Pray , because you really never know what could happen. Thank you.
