Georgetown University-Law School for NSLC

Hi, my name is Isabella Sand. Most of you know me as Bella. I have been invited to attend the National Student Leadership Conference at Georgetown University this summer to study Law for an 18-day program. This opportunity is offered to the top 5% of students around the US and my test scores and extracurricular activities (Surprise City Teen Court, Surprise Law Academy, & volunteering in my community) have been recognized and have generated this invitation. As some of you know I have worked hard in my academic career to maintain a 4.0+ GPA and I have aspirations of being the President of the United States one day.

I would love this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity but, I will need a little help from my friends and family. I'm hoping to raise enough money to be able to accept the chance to dive into our legal system, such as appellate, corporate, and environmental law. I would have the opportunity to visit the U.S. Federal Courthouse, U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Attorney's Office, Drug Enforcement Agency, and Capital Hill on behind-the-scenes tours. I will get the chance to discover my specialty in law, argue a criminal case, learn strategies and interpret the constitution. All while learning leadership training in conflict resolution, negotiation and public speaking.
