This Month George has been in and out and back in Yale New Haven Hospital Cardiac Care Unit
His heart is in Atrial fibrillation (Afib) and he will in time need to have his Aortic Valve Replaced.
George’s Team of EP and Cardiac Doctors seem confident that with a “Cocktail” of Medication and the use of a CPAP Machine his heart rate will come down to a safe number where they will be able to perform the Valve Replacement.
The Monthly Estimated cost of the medication is $1000 for 30 days and the CPAP Machine’s prices are starting at $800. At this time George and Teena do not have Medical Insurance.
George has already lost 3 weeks of work and we are not sure how long he will be laid up between now and the actual time of surgery and then recovery. Teena has also missed many days at her new job to be at the hospital with George or just to be with Tyler, Megan and Mary during this time.
