Hi my name is Lauren and I am fundraising for my sons funeral, he was born at 19 weeks and 2 days he beat all the odds that were stacked against him, my waters broke on Tuesday the 19th of March, he was born on Friday the 22nd of March, he survived them days with no waters helping him, he then also survived the birth even though we was told he wouldn't, he fought so hard for 65 minutes before it was too much for him and he went to the stars, he broke all the odds by coming out with a heart beat lasting for 65 minutes York hospital didn't try helping him they left him to try and survive himself even though he couldn't, he beat all odds because York hospital, the midwives and the coroners have never seen a baby born as early as my son and survive, the midwife who helped us with the birth had never been through that before that was the first time she had helped a couple though the birth of their child and see them die, the York Hospital midwives told me that it was just reflexes but reflexes only last 4 minutes and under, my sons heart beat for 65 minutes, that's why the coroner's are now doing a closed inquest to see how my son survived for so long, and why York Hospital didn't help my son even though they saw his little heart beating and seen him struggling.

We are asking help to pay for his own individual plot so we can get a head stone for him so us as parents and our daughter has some where to go and see our son and her little brother, we are also asking for help to pay for our sons flowers and headstone, with never having to do a funeral let alone for our own son we didn't expect things to cost as much as they do.
