George, Ashley and baby Thomas

George is a forestry technician with ten years of service in the wildland fire community with the Forest Service. George and his wife Ashley recently moved up to Oregon from Nevada and began settling in for their new life with baby Thomas on the way. There were some complications at week 26 of Ashley's pregnancy, and she was moved into care at the hospital. Baby and Ashley are at high risk, so she will have to stay in the hospital until Thomas decides it’s time to make his arrival, which we pray will not be any time soon as his lungs and brain still need to develop quite a bit. There will be an inevitable NICU stay after his birth; how long and what sort of treatment depends on when he arrives. With layoff season here in the Wildland community, we are looking for help for George and Ashley. Medical bills, fuel costs and living expenses will pile up, and we hope to raise at least 10,000 to help them through this difficult time.
