Geofrey Otieno's Electrical Shop
Donation protected
A few years ago I spent some time working with Kiva in the city of Kisumu in western Kenya. I befriended my boda-boda (motorbike) driver and his family. I went over to his home for a few meals & he gave me lessons on how to drive his motorbike. Over the last few years, he's completed coursework to become a licensed electrician in an attempt to better support his family
We've stayed in touch and I've supported him when I can. Kenya has been hit hard by COVID-19 and Geofrey has had a hard time making ends meet. If you're feeling generous around the holidays - I'm sure he and his family would appreciate anything you're willing to contribute.
If you'd prefer to support a 501(c)3 organization - Flying Kites is a Boston-based group doing great work keeping kids in school in this area
