Geoff, Toni & family need a new home!

My name is Kelsey and I’ve set up this fundraiser for the most amazing couple, Geoff and Toni, and their family.

last year, Geoff was given a diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease and has since been in a wheelchair. He currently sleeps in their dining room and has had adaptions made to the home however as his and the families needs change, they need to move to a bungalow to better adapt to his new way of living.

Their beautiful house is on the market however due to an unknown problem with mundick at the time of their purchase, it is worth significantly less than they are able to afford to buy a new bungalow so that they can stay together as a family. All homes in Cornwall are currently selling for 40-50k above asking price, even homes that require a lot of work inside. They are being priced out of the market and as time goes on, it’s becoming increasingly difficult.

Toni has worked her whole life for the NHS and is the most kind, loving woman I’ve known. Geoff is an absolute gent who has taken everything in his stride and continues to smile his way through these very tough times.

In order for them to get into a family home which is all ground floor and add the necessary adaptions, they need an approximate £35,000 extra to get them into the home they desperately need.

I would do anything to see them happy together in a home that’s safe and comfortable for them all and I only wish I had the funds to give them… but that’s where you come in. If people could donate as much or as little as they can afford, it would mean the absolute world to them. If you cannot afford to contribute funds, you can still help!
