Please Help Geoff Send Stars to Elijah!
On Monday, Feb 17th, 2020 my brother Geoff Spencer passed at the very young age of 57, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Just over two years ago, Geoff became the legal guardian of his now 4 year old grandson, Elijah. With limited means of his own, and health issues that prevented Geoff from working, he brought this little guy into his home and became the father/grandfather that young Elijah needed. Coming from a broken and sometimes dangerous environment, Elijah needed the stability and love that Geoff was able to provide him.
One of Geoff's last wishes was to make sure that Elijah would move to a loving home, and be provided the financial support needed for his future education. Geoff was able to find that special home for Elijah with Jason and Jamie, but was unfortunately unable to provide the monetary requirements that will be needed to raise this young man and ensure he has a great education.
Geoff told Elijah that he would send him Stars from heaven, something that Polly and Jamie can use to provide rewards for those days where he did well at school, or did something he deserved recognition for, and to provide comfort to Elijah on those days where he was missing Grampa.
Rather than donating to a local charity, as is often the norm, and rather than sending flowers, Geoff wanted us to arrange to Help Deliver Stars to Elijah. Anything you can do to help in the GoFundMe campaign is greatly appreciated and will help those Stars get delivered.
As Trustee, I promise 100% of the donations will go to young Elijah's bringing up and education.
