We are excited to share that we have been invited to join the leadership of Christ for the Nations Bible Institute on a trip to Israel this May. This year’s trip to Israel is particularly special because we are partnering with Empowered21, a Global Congress of worldwide Christian leaders. Even though Magon heard of this event when we were still in Indiana, we had no idea God would move her into a position where she would be serving with the very people leading the prayer effort and teaching at Empowered21. After the conference, we will tour the Holy Land with expert guides taking us to the very places we read about in the Bible.
We ask that you pray for us as we prepare for our trip to Israel and involvement in Empowered21. We are expecting a life changing, Spirit empowered time. You can even download a free prayer guide or the app for your phone (cfn.org).
We are raising money to cover the expenses for this trip. We have no doubt that God will provide miraculously. It was just five years ago that our faith was challenged with the opportunity to have missionary training on foreign soil in the Philippines and God provided the necessary funds. That training was life changing and equipping, as we are expecting this experience to be.
In many cases, Empowered21 meetings mark the first time leaders of the Spirit-filled movement in a given region have ever connected at this level. New, groundbreaking networks are forming in Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, Latin America, the Middle East, United States and beyond. Additionally, an Empowered21 ‘Next Gen Youth Leaders Network’ is being formed as the first-ever international network for Spirit-filled youth leaders; all under the leadership of this diverse international cabinet. Among the members of the cabinet are CFNI President, Dennis Lindsay, Jack Hayford, Glenn Burris, Jr., Kenneth Copeland, Brian Houston, Bill Johnson, and many others national leaders.
Our team, who is led by, President Dennis and Ginger Lindsay and CFN Church Pastors Billy and Marianne Allen, will have a variety of ministry opportunities including witnessing at market places, beaches, and army bases. With Christ For The Nations Institute’s many connections in Israel, the trip promises to be a power-packed time of hands-on ministry.
As members of the team, we are responsible for raising our funds for airfare, food, lodging, and ground transportation—totaling $9,190 ($4,595 each).
