The Gentlemen's New Album!

The Gentlemen of the College are recording our first professional studio album and we need your help!
As the College of William & Mary's oldest all-male a cappella group, the Gentlemen have a long history. We sing many styles of music, ranging from our traditional barbershop to Top 40 hits. We've performed on and off campus, competed across the state, and traveled thousands of miles touring. We've performed at weddings and at birthday parties, for random people on the street and for the Queen of England. We've even recorded a few albums. But we have never done something like this.
Last year, we celebrated our 25th anniversary as a group, and we decided we wanted to take our music to the next level. This album is our way of doing that.
We got in touch with our friends down at Liquid Fifth, an award-winning a cappella production studio in Durham, NC, and told them we wanted to record the most ambitious Gentlemen album yet, and they agreed to work hard with us to make that happen. All of our full-length albums so far were recorded and mixed almost entirely by us, with a few microphones in a classroom or in the basement of Swem, or else recorded by us and mixed professionally somewhere. This album will be different, because we will be working with professionals from start to finish to get the best sound and the best production we have ever had. However, recording an album of this caliber will cost a lot of money that the Gentlemen as a student group simply do not have. Which is why we need your help.
We want this album to represent who we are and who we strive to be as a group. We want it to sound modern, while still retaining that signature Gentlemen flair. This album will reflect all the hard work we have put in to our music and exactly what the Gentlemen means to us.
But we can't do it alone. Whether $4 or $400, every donation counts. Your support means the world to us, and we are confident that together, we can create something truly spectacular. We are so thankful for your support.
