Geneva Medrano

Yesterday as we began to prepare bringing in the new year, my siblings and I began spinning in the whirlwind of pain and confusion that comes along with losing a loved one unexpectedly. Our mother Geneva Lynn Medrano passed in the early morning hours of Dec 31. She was a passionate and devoted woman to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Very giving, honest and respectful, she would be there to support anyone who needed her. Not always the biggest contributor she always helpful in anyway she could be. We are greatful for the time we had with her and the ideals she has passed on to her children and grandchildren. In the process of grieving and collecting ourselves to make her funeral arrangements, we've found the process to be overwhelming both emotionally and financially. We initially wanted to bury our mother in her home state of Texas but now see that is well out of our means. Our mother did not have life insurance and we have to pay for her funeral services out of pocket. As a result simpler arrangements must be made. We are starting this fundraiser to ask for our friends and families assistance in paying for her funeral expenses. Any contributions given by January 8th, 2018 will be greatly appreciated.
