Gene Nesbit Stadium Bathrooms

The iconic Gene Nesbit Stadium, home of the Hugo Buffaloes football team is in need of new restrooms.  This stadium was built as a WPA project and has served many generations of teams and fans.  True to our motto “Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion”, the Hugo Lion’s Club has decided to make this project our Centennial Project celebrating 100 years of service to our community.

This  project will construct a new structure at the Stadium housing new bathrooms and a new concession stand.  We are partnering with the Hugo Public Schools for this project. The estimated cost of the project is $50,000.00.  We encourage all Hugo alumni, fans, community partners and Hugo stakeholders to join us and contribute any amount that you can.  All donations are sincerely appreciated!

The Hugo Lion’s Club will be dedicating many fundraising activities this year towards this project.   We also know that the community of Hugo has a big heart and there are many people that would like to help out.  This gofundme account is established to make it as easy as possible for anyone that would like to contribute.  Donations can also be made at the Hugo Public Schools administration office or any Hugo Lion’s Club member.
