Gemma's law fund

My name is Gemma and since I was a child I have dreamed of becoming a Barrister. That didn't go to plan, as I went through a lot of trauma in my late teens and early twenties. However, I didn't want this to define me so, at the age of 35 I decided I was going to go back into education to realise this ambition. I achieved a distinction on my access course and went on to achieve first class honours in law. I was offered a place at the prestigious BPP University in Leeds, which specialises in post graduate law training. I am currently studying for a place on The Bar and if I pass all my exams I will be called to The Bar, July 2021.
Whilst doing this course I have also been Mum to four beautiful children, two boys and two girls. My second eldest son also suffers with Cerebral Palsy. I am from a working class background and am the first in my family to even contemplate going to university.
I am  now in a financial situation due to COVID which means that unless I raise £3500 to give to the University as quickly as possible I will not be able to continue on my course.
I worked out that if 500 friends donate £6 each I will have raised enough. I realise its Christmas and a tough time already for families in light of this year and all that COVID has brought us.
I just didn't want to give up without trying, this is obviously everything to me and I would be so grateful to anyone who can help.
