Gee Up For Jodie

Jodie Elisara is an amazing wife to Junior, mother to Hunter, Eva and Bronson, fantastic friend to myself and many others, and a much loved character in the Australian powerlifting community.
Recently Jodie was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. It was then discovered that she has cancer in her uterus and one of her ovaries also. Jodie will require surgery to remove the cancer followed up by months of chemotherapy.
Jodie is hard working and a big contributor to her family's income so taking time off work for surgery, recovery and further treatment will undoubtedly become a financial strain. With medical bills on top of this (up to $1000 for certain scans) my aim is to help ease some of the burden so Jodie and her family can focus on kicking cancers arse... and anyone who knows Jodie knows she
WILL kick its butt hard!!!
We will also be holding a "Gee up for Jodie" powerlifting comp at Valhalla Strength at Northgate on the last weekend of March with entry fees going to Jodie and her family. More details of this are to follow but if you want to compete in a fun comp with a twist or know of anyone else who might then stay tuned for more information. Mark it in your calendars.
There will also be a raffle with some amazing prizes including Massages, Acupuncture, Supplements, Lifting Gear, Shoes and Clothes, with a lot more to come. The draw will be done at the Gee Up for Jodie event in March.
