Gear Up for Gage!!

I’m writing this on behalf of the many friends, family and tribe that all know Gage and his wonderful family. My words are their words…

On Halloween night our young Gage, just 17 years old, suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Gage was leaving a halloween party when he was suddenly punched in the head and upon falling, his head hit the curb with great force . He was rushed to the hospital and immediately underwent emergency surgery to help relieve the swelling in his brain. Currently, he is in a medically induced coma and on life support and is fighting for his life in hope of making a full recovery!

It goes without saying that Gage and his family need our support. Let’s “GEAR UP” for Gage and help our dear friends in need. Your support first and foremost can be through prayer and positive thoughts. Let’s “gear up” and pray hard for Gage! Another way to “Gear Up” would be to take any or all financial burdens out of the question for this family. There will be endless medical and after care bills. Stacey, his mom, is a local business owner who will not be able to work for some time. If you are able to support them in this time of need with any kind of financial donation it would most definitely make the difference needed to get them through this long road ahead.

Gage is one of four siblings and the son of Stacey Cameron and Brian Cameron. If you know Stacey, you know that Gage is a lot like his momma and will fight hard to come out of this. Any other scenario is NOT an option! Gage recently graduated High School 8 months early! Gage is a 17 year old young, active, adventurous man, who has a love of skateboarding and is VERY good at it!  He doesn't let anything take him down and he’d probably make a joke about this and say, “when life throws you a punch you get back up.” I have a feeling he will!

The best form of medicine is lots of love and support. So once again, let’s all “Gear Up” for Gage and show our love and support through your prayers and donations....every dollar counts and any amount is so appreciated! Even the smallest donation with help Gage and his family cross the finish line! Thank you in advance from the Cameron family and Gage.
