Help Jamie Jo fight this battle!

Jamie is a life long friend of mine. Knowing Jamie and knowing her life, struggles, and her latest battle is why I created this GoFundMe account for her. This is Jamie's story: Jamie was diagnosed with MS on January 5, 2014. Not exactly the way you want to start the new year with a devastating diagnosis of MS. She's strong. She's stubborn. Determined to beat MS and kick it's butt! That's the fiery red head girl I grew up with in a small town just across the river. She even planned on running a 5k with her sister Alicia a few short months later. A few months ago she had another MRI which showed NO LESIONS! Let me tell you, we ALL had tears of joy! A miracle! During all of this, Jamie was recieving a speciality medication name Tysurbi via IV infusion. Unfortunatly, she still has MS. It never went away. I'm not sure why the MRI scan showed it was clear (she'll have to explain that to you.) So learning to live with this new diagnosis, raising two beautiful girls, being a wife, AND a teacher, she was hit with yet another set back. A disc in her lumbar region had broken off and attached itself to her spine! Ouch! Obviously that meant surgery. She met with a new Ortho who would perfom her surgery. Prior to surgery, she was having difficulty walking, and numbness in her extremeties, and stabbing pain down her spine. So she  had surgery at United Regional on Sept 22, 2014. Things happened in the OR room which led to in infection to her insion to the spine. She also experienced two more incidents post op, and in the hospital room which lead to the infection spreading. Jamie ended up spending a total of 18 days in the hospital, when she had orginally planned on being there a few days, taking a few days off of work, then returning back to her normal routine. Life had a different plan. She should have stayed in the hospital longer, or go to an inpatient rehab, but her insurance company said neither of those options were necessary, and told her she had to recover at home. Jamie is unable to walk. She has this cute little "walker" with wheels and a basket which helps her move around. Meanwhile, she was sent home, and her hubby learning how to clean her incision. She finally got into "Wound Care" at United Regional, and her insicion was then cut opened down to the muscle layers to help with the infection control. So while Jamie and Jason are trying to get back to a somewhat of a normal routine, they have very little income due to Jamie's teaching job being the main source of income . Medical bills are piling up, she still needs to pay for her health insurance while she not able to work, and still handle the usual lifes expenses, groceries, utilites, ect.  If you can help Jamie, Jason, Kelsey Kiersten with ANY denomation, it will help this sweet family. Jamie didn't ask for help. I asked her if I could set this up for her. She was kind of reluctant, becuase that fiery red haired girl that I grew up with, was once again being stubborn. That's ok, because I'm stubborn to, and I love my friend.  ANYTHING you give will go DIRECTLY to Jamie. This sweet family needs a helping hand during this thorny battle life has thrown at them. Let's all come together and fight this battle with them.
