Benny, Tricia and Miranda Negro need our help!
Miranda is a sweet little girl who loves when you read to her. She squeals with delight when you sing songs such as, "The Wheels on the Bus" and "Five Little Monkeys." She was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma when she was just 1 week old. She lost her left eye to this disease and has been in and out of hospitals her entire life. She just turned 20.
Her mom Tricia had no choice but to give up her career to care for Miranda. In 2009 she received the devastating news that she had 4th Stage Lung Cancer which had spread to her lymph nodes and her hip bone. She persevered through chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Because of her strength, wonderful doctors and through the grace of God, she has been in remission for 7 years.
If this wasn't enough for one family to endure, they have once again been struck with tragedy. Benny has now been diagnosed with 4th Stage Stomach Cancer that has spread to his liver and lymph nodes. His body is not responding to several types of chemotherapy and now needs a more aggressive treatment. Benny is unable to eat because of where the tumor is located and now has to be fed through a feeding tube. Due to all of this, he is on disability and has a limited income. If you could please find it in your heart to donate to this family in need, any amount would be greatly appreciated.
