Help for Gayle's Hip Replacement

Donación protegida
In 2009 I was diagnosed with “Severe Osteoarthritis of the Right Hip” and the medical recommendation was for a Hip Replacement as soon as possible. The recession was in full swing, and I had just started my small skin care shop in 2005 with my life savings. As a self employed single gal, I used up my savings to stay afloat & could not consider the Hip Replacement my doctor recommended at that time.
I pushed myself forward through tremendous pain for these past 7 years hoping to make more money so I could afford the surgery on my own (which has now gone up in price). Unfortunately, this is an unreachable goal. I have a terrible limp, but I love my work & clients and I still work 7 days a week for all these 11 years since opening in 2005.
I have managed to secure insurance, but I will have Co-pay to cover, post op physical therapy AND since I am self-employed, I will not have income during the 4+ weeks I will be down after the surgery to cover my personal & business bills. Even though product sales will NOT be interrupted, I won't be able to do any services. As hard as it is for me to ask for Help, I will need approximately $21,000 to cover these items while my insurance will help with surgery expenses.
It is critical for me to get my Hip Replacement ASAP as I have already caused complications (described below) by postponing this surgery for over 7 years. Happy to share I have selected an Orthopedic Surgeon and I am truly looking forward to a Hip Replacement soon thanks to your generous Help here on GoFundMe.
Below is a letter from my physician describing my current diagnosis which has worsened tremendously since 2009:

Gayle Whitehead is a patient in my family medical practice. She has suffered for many years from a disabling form of hip osteoarthritis. The hip osteoarthritis has resulted in near-total destruction of the hip joint with associated osteoarthritic spurring, abnormal changes of the head of the femur and of the hip socket.
In addition to disabling hip arthritis, Gayle has suffered from degenerative joint disease affecting the small facet joints connecting one vertebra to the next in the low back. This is occurring in association with degeneration of the discs between the vertebral bones. This is primarily an age-related process with superimposed wear and tear from physical activity.
Gayle has done an excellent job in trying to maintain her physical fitness through a combination of different exercises which limit the impact on the hip joint and spine. Despite the physical conditioning, she has been unable to live without the requirement for pain mangagement.
At this time I feel that the best course of action would be a total hip replacement because of the degree of severe osteoarthritis involving the joint. Hip replacement would alleviate her pain to a great degree while at the same time allowing her more freedom to strengthen her back and core muscles to adequately support the lumbosacral spine.
