Gavin Williams Memorial Fund

On Friday, March 9, 2018, we lost our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend, Gavin Zachary Williams.  Less than one month after turning 13 years old, Gavin took his own life at his family home in Hayfork, CA.  He leaves behind a shocked and grieving family in desperate need of emotional and financial support.  Our Gavin was kind, smart, funny, and talented.  He was class president and the most improved player on his basketball team.  Gavin was passionate about riding dirt bikes, something he excelled at.  He was loved by all who met him and will be dearly, deeply missed. We are Sarah Haught and Hannah Valdini, sisters of Jason Williams, Gavin's father.  Along with our own father, Payson native Gregg Williams, our mother, Janet Williams, and our brother Trevor Williams.  We started this GoFundMe to help Jason, his long time girlfriend Maria Dixson and their three sons Nathan (15 years old), Dylan (10 years old), James Dixson (10 years) with the many expenses related to this terrible tragedy.  No one could ever conceive of a conclusion like this for such a beautiful child with so much life still ahead of him.  The unforeseen event puts Jason and his boys in financial straits.  He is a single father raising these boys on his own since their mother passed in 2013.  The goal of this GoFundMe campaign is to support Jason with medical bills, living expenses, memorial costs, and travel expenses (he is out of state from all family) as he takes time to grieve with and support his surviving sons. The posted goal is to cover the bare essentials for their immediate needs but the road ahead is long and any amount contributed for Jason and his boys is truly appreciated at this difficult time.  Thanks for respecting the privacy of the family as there are still many unanswered questions.
