In Loving Memory of Gaven Michael Ross

On January 24, 2026, our lives and the local community were changed forever. We tragically lost Gaven Michael Ross and his friend, Cooper, in a horrific car accident on Burwood Highway, Ferntree Gully.

Gaven had only just turned 18.

He was a kind, gentle soul who never complained and lived entirely for his family and friends. Having lost his father at a young age, Gaven was determined to build a bright future. He was a bright light with so much to look forward to: finishing his apprenticeship, weekends spent camping and fishing, and finally being able to provide for the family he loved so dearly.

The magnitude of this loss is unspeakable. We are heartbroken that he will never get to fulfil the dreams he worked so hard for.

We are reaching out to our community to help us give Gaven the send-off he deserves. All funds raised will go directly toward his funeral and memorial services, ensuring his final resting place reflects the beautiful person he was.
