Gates Family Fire Relief

On Nov. 8th our whole world was turned upside down when a fire completely destroyed our home and the beautiful town our little family loved so much. I will never forget the frantic morning we spent evacuating our burning town with nothing but the clothes in our backs...it was the stuff nightmares are made of. My husband is a Paradise Police Officer and spent the rest of the terrifying day forfeiting his own safety to help the desperate residents of Paradise escape the flames that surrounded them. We will always be grateful that he came home that night for at times i wasnt shure if he would. We have lost everything that we posessed but are alive and together and when it comes down to it, that is all that matters. We have a tough road ahead of us. Many kind hearted friends, family and even strangers have graciously asked how they can help us during this heartbreaking time. Anything helps and is appreciated.
