Garza Fight Fund

Carly Garza is a 34 year old mother of three beautiful children (8 yrs, 5 yrs and 15 months).  She is the wife of Edwardo Garza (Eddie), who is currently a corporal for Dumas police dept. Carly is a teacher who teaches specialized reading instruction to young children who need additional support with learning. She also is an avid fitness instructor.  While at a fitness convention seven hours away from home, she suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage. She had emergency surgery to loosen the pressure from swelling on her brain and is expected to be in Neuro ICU for another couple weeks. Carly is on a ventilator helping her breathe. After she is released from ICU, she is expected to need several months of therapy- speech and physical therapy. Her insurance is an HMO  and will only cover her ICU care.
