Gary's Girls

This is a fundraising appeal to help our sister Diane Stevens and our two nieces Maisie and Ophelia.

On the night of Wednesday 17th June 2015 Diane's husband Gary Stevens was playing football when he suddenly collapsed on the pitch suffering a heart attack. Emergency services were called and friends tried to revive Gary but he tragically died instantly as a result of the heart attack only days after his 34th Birthday. This was completely unexpected and has devastated his family and friends.

He sadly leaves behind Diane and their two beautiful daughters Maisie aged four and Ophelia aged one.

Gary was a Team Leader at Princess Yachts in Plymouth. It was a job that he loved and took pride in. He was popular and well respected by the many people who work for the company. He was an amazing person who would help anyone.

Gary married Diane three years ago after they had renovated their first house together making it a beautiful home for them to live in as a family.

As if this was not unbearable enough it appears that there were complications regarding life insurance cover which means that Diane is now faced with paying a mortgage without Gary who was earning more than twice the amount of money as her. Diane currently works part time so that she can look after their daughters.

Please donate whatever you can to help towards Diane and her two young daughters keeping the home that they love.

Thanks for your time and support.

We will never forget you Gary. Love from Cara and Teresa xx
