Help Gary

Gary is a single father raising two children, a 10 yr old son and 13 yr old daughter. He has been roofing for 33 years following our father and grandfathers steps. February 1, 2018 he had a tragic accident when he fell off of a two story roof at work. He landed on his head and suffered severe head trauma and fought for his life in Neurological ICU for two months.  He has been awakened but has no control over his body or able to talk yet. He still has a feeding tube and just had a trachea removed that was helping him breath so he is now breathing all on his own. At this time we are still unsure of the total damages and recovery he may endure but we are told it may be many months or longer before we know his outcome fully. My mother has been trying to keep his home going and still pay her own bills for her home. She has exhausted her little bit of emergency savings from her SSI income and is now working on trying to sell her mobile home because we cannot afford to keep two homes going.  My husband and I along with other close friends and family are helping what they can but today his water was shut off and many other household bills are overdue and possible to being shut off as well. We were raised to work hard and take care of ourselves and he has up to now. It is hard to ask for help  but we have little choice left.  It costs approximately 3k to cover his household expenses such as house payment, water, sewer and garbage, gas, electric, and tv. We have already eliminated all unneccesary expenses and this cost does not include food. I am asking for help to cover 4 months of household bills so my brother and children do not lose their home while we wait for some type of disability income to be approved. We are hopeful that within a few months we will know more about the outcome of the accident on his mind and body. Meanwhile we are praying for his healing and I am personally asking for your prayers and any help financially to keep his kids in their home while they wait for dad to come home.
