Garrett & Morgan

Hurricane Irma…It will be the one that will be talked about for decades and the one that has greatly affected my son and his fiancé.

Garrett and Morgan live in Key West, Florida. They evacuated before the hurricane and were fortunate enough to stay with two different families that provided them a safe place.

Currently, they are staying with Morgan's family in Texas; however, they are both in correspondence with previous employers and trying to get some idea when they can go home to Key West.

Unfortunately, they were recently informed that they would not be able to return to their rental. So, they have lost everything, but what they were able to pack when they left.

When Garrett first went to Key West, he enjoyed the laid back lifestyle and also working at different rental companies. However, his love for biology started calling his name and he started working in the area of Marine Biology.

Morgan has been diligently working on an apprenticeship in massage at one of the spas at Key West. She also works as the manager at the spa/resort.

They are hoping to return to Key West as soon as the roads open.

Perhaps these two need a little love from all of us, after losing most of their material possessions, the loss of two incomes, and the uncertainty of the future.
