Garold and Janet Shoemaker Final Expenses Fund

One of the best men I know has passed away due to complications with Covid-19. Our family is devastated. This was my mother's other half, our leaning post. Our friend. My mother was left with some outrageous expenses, doesn't qualify for military widow benefits, and is dealing with lapsed life insurance and a lot of debt. She cannot keep the house they worked so very hard to make so beautiful and create their memories in.. She is also facing half the income she had. She had him cremated, yet this is still a big expense. This virus is preventing us from having the memorial service he deserves. It's so sad. He deserved more than that.. She is trying to grieve and cannot fully do this because of stress of the money situation right now. We, as her kids, are trying to help, but have expenses of our own as well, and as per usual, these were unplanned circumstances. Every little penny could help her and is appreciated.
