Ganga Valley School Rishikesh - Computer Room

Over the last 12 years we have been visiting Rachel Rai and the kids at the Ganga Valley School in Rishikesh as a part of our retreats to India. I found Rachel and her school by chance one day while wandering the back streets of Lakshman Jhula.
Rachel is an amazing woman who has taken kids off the streets of Rishikesh, given them a home, fed them, clothed them, loved them and given them the opportunity to go to school and to learn how to care for themselves. She is a wonderful, strong and generous woman who has shared her family home with many, and loves doing it. It was very special this last trip to see Rachels daughter having graduated from teachers college and now teaching at GVS along side her mum. I remember her as a primary school student!
On our recent trip I asked Rachel what they needed. Her reply was "a computer room for the kids". She has put together a budget of $4000 to cover the cost of construction, electricians and fitting out the computer room.
I am only asking people that have travelled with me to India to consider making a contribution to this project. I would love for you to consider assisting in supporting Rachel and her work with the kids of Rishikesh.
