Please help Gandhali recover from a severe injuries sustained in a major accident.
Gandhali, our 23 year old niece, is a student of Northeastern University, Boston, MA pursuing her Masters in Regulatory Affairs. She lost her mother two years ago and it was her mother's wish that she pursue higher degrees in the USA and that is exactly what Gandhali was trying to do.
On the 4th July, Gandhali Kulkarni, our niece, was involved in a serious accident at the intersection on Old Atlanta and Gilbert roads in Forsyth County in Georgia. Gandhali is currently in the hospital with severe brain injuries that require long term rehabilitation to return any kind of normalcy to her life. Currently, doctors are unable to predict when she will be back on her feet. It will be a long road back to recovery with several months of rehabilitation needed. She is a strong girl and we are certain she will be able to bounce back from this with the right support. Unfortunately, all expenses related to this including acute rehabilitation and nursing care (24*7) are not covered by her current BCBS student insurance (only 60 days of rehabilitation covered). We are starting this page to raise funds to help our niece with her medical expenses and needs not covered by her insurance. We are respectfully reaching out to you all for donations to help her.
We are in constant contact with Gandhali's father, providing him with updates on her daily progress via phone and WhatsApp video calls. We will keep this page updated as we have more information.
