Gamaliel's Medical Fund

Hello friends wanted to ask you for a monetary donation for our friend Gamaliel 's Medical Fund. I am asking everyone to please give as much as you can possibly give to help our dear friend the artist Gamaliel Ramirez in his medical recovery expendetures and his time of need. He curently finds himself in hospice care at Hogar Rosales del Carmen Calle Los Delgados, Arecibo PR 00612
As a result of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico
on Oct 25, 2017 Gamaliel living in Puerto Rico at this time fell and injured himself. He had broken his shoulder and his hip bone. When taken to the hospital at Centro Medico in Rio Pedras P.R. his condition had declined and had to be put on a respirator due to an infection he had in his lungs, consecuently the doctors were not able to operate him for his injuries . At this point the doctors in the hospital were not giving his family much hope for surviving. He was later moved to the United States navy ship Comfort for his care and is now back at the Centro Medico Hospital recovering doing much better.
Gamaliel is on a breathing ventilator and will need continued care when he gets discharged from the hospital and possibly move back to Chicago where conditions would be better for his recovery,
In Puerto Rico conditions are still very bad as a result of hurricane Maria with no electricity and contaminated water in some areas.
This Medical fund will go to Gamaliel's bank account and for him to spend it on his continued care as he wishes.
Gamaliel has authorized his daughter Michelle Ramirez to be the beneficiary of the Fund for withdrawls on behalf of her father. Gamaliel is in the hospital and bedridden and unable to make withdraws of the Fund at this time.

Hola, I am an artist who was born in the Bronx, of NY city, a cancer survivor, the father of two daughters and a proud grandfather of two grandchildren. A Boricua, Nuyorican who has worked in Chicago as an artist / teacher artist for over 35 years and now living and working in Santa Rita, San Juan, Puerto Rico. On facebook and on my website gamalielramirez.weebly.com and on youtube, I have published albums of my paintings from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and more recent works, another publication includes my murals, poetry, photography, videos, resume,exhibition record, artist statement and more.
