GAIN Fest 2024 Fundraiser

Nik Wever here, owner & director of operations at GAIN Media, which stands for Guelph & Area Independent & New Media (formerly GAIN Music). It's been an evolving venture that has been a way for me to give back to the community of Guelph by showcasing its many artistic talents.

The annual festival, GAIN Fest, has been at the centre of the company since its founding in 2011. The goals of the festival since day 1 have been to put local artists, musicians & bands on a high-production festival stage; to work with local organizations and businesses that already support the music & art communities, and to keep the festival accessible and affordable for everyone.

This nomadic festival takes over various downtown Guelph spaces to allow festival-goers to experience a variety of bands and styles throughout the festival, while also promoting Guelph-owned businesses. We've seen many artists start their journey on the GAIN Fest stage, and I am humbled by the wealth of talent we've been able to support & develop over the years.

We're raising funds to pay the remainder of the debts owed from the 2023 festival and to hopefully also raise some funds for the 2024 GAIN Fest, a grassroots festival that flourishes with community cohesiveness, and with your support, can continue to cultivate the arts scene in our city.
