Gae's Medical Fund and Job Loss

On September 5, our sister Gae, found a lump on her neck. After a CAT scan, PET  scan, 2 biopsies and blood work, Gae was diagnosed with two types of lymphoma. Both of these are treatable with chemo every three weeks for six weeks plus medications.

To make the situation more difficult, Gae had two recent hospital stay's which totaled 10 days.  In late August, before her diagnosis, Gae's  department at US Bank was eliminated. Before Gae could really start looking for a job, the lump was found and all her energy was put into doctor visits and tests with her finally going on short term disability. 

Thankfully Gae has insurance but it has a high deductible and there will be numerous out-of-pocket expenses that would not be covered by insurance. Gae will also be losing income from her part-time job at PetSmart, a job she absolutely loves.

Gae is a wonderful sister and friend and we are hoping others can help her out during this difficult time.
