Gabe Harris is one of the most kind, big hearted individuals you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. I'm proud to say he has been one of my closest friends for the last 16 years. And because Gabe is who he is, I'm sure countless others can say the same.
He constantly puts other people first and would give you the shirt off his back and anything else you might need. Like all of us, Gabe has had his ups and downs but he continues to be a true friend to all those around him.
Now it's time for us to help someone who's been so kind to everyone else. Gabe has undergone many surgeries in the last couple years as he has battled basal cell carcinomas. He has another surgery lined up in the not too distant future.
On top of all this, he has also battled periodontal issues due to being born with a cleft lip and palate which have caused tooth loss. This makes it difficult for him to chew at times and extremely difficult for him to confidently share his awesome laugh and smile.
Gabe has basic insurance to help him with the skin cancer, but does not have dental coverage. I've put this campaign together to help Gabe get the dental assistance he needs. Everyone deserves to eat pain-free and to smile without being self-conscious.
There are over 1,000 people on Facebook who are "friends" with Gabe. If each one of you would be willing to donate $7.00, we'd be at our goal.
