Given the current Covid-19 crisis, Slimelight is not able to operate as normal and has no income, but there is an effort by our DJs to keep the spirit of the club alive online on the streaming site Twitch.
Until May 2020 we were raising money to cover our running costs, and to help St Thomas' & Guys Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital which are both in London. All monies raised now will purely be going towards helping keep Slimelight and its venue open. As you may know the venue also normally hosts many other club nights (such as Kaos and Voodoo), hundreds of gigs each year, and numerous other events. Unfortunately the venue is not entitled to assistance from any of the Government schemes (beyond furlough) and the cumulative fixed costs are rising daily. Your donations would be most appreciated and could make all the difference - this is why we've increased the target to £50,000.
