This Go Fund Me account is to help my mother, Lynn Morgan. She is the pretty lady in the picture. Yes, that is me with her, but from about 35 years ago.
Three weeks ago mom, who never goes to the doctor, went to the emergency room due to severe abdominal pain. The doctors quickly determined it was cancer and a few days later we learned she has stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Due to her health and pain she has been out of work for a little more than a month already and will not be able to go back. She was the primary source of income for her household with her husband being on disability. At this point, with no work income and increasing medical bills she has asked me to set up this account on her behalf.
I don't know how long mom has left but as of right now she is not doing well and needs all of the help and prayers possible. She is in the hospital and wanting to go home but her insurance has minimal coverage for the hospice care she would require. I set a modest goal not having ever done this or knowing much about it but honestly anything is very much appreciated.
Right now we are focused on managing her pain and keeping her as comfortable as possible with hopes of getting her home as she wishes. The doctors are giving her a couple weeks and any funds received will go to carrying out her last wishes.
