Val Scholarship Fund

Val is a young woman who dreams of changing her village and nation for the better. She is from Suba District in Kenya, by the shores of Lake Victoria. Two years ago, she began studying scientific entrepreneurship at Karatina University in northern Kenya. She has proven herself to be a diligent and resourceful student. She is two years away from completing her degree, but her father needs continuing medical attention that has wiped out her school funding. Your contribution will not only help Val achieve her dream, but prepare her to be an engine of economic development in Suba.

Expenses:
Tuition: $1000 per semester
Living expenses for Val: $220 per month
Transport for Val from home to school: $30 per month
Medical expenses Val's father: $100 per month

The Tuition bill is due before the beginning of each semester in September and January. Support expenses are year round and ongoing. The sooner you are able to give, the sooner we can have Val completing her education.
