Walk Aide for Adalynn
While I was pregnant with our daughter Adalynn, she suffered a stroke. After she was born, she wasn't doing things that normal babies do. After several visits to different doctors and suspecting cerebral palsy, she had an mri where we found out about her stroke. Where the stroke took place in her brain effects several abilities for her. Her left side is her "weak" side. She can use her left side, but some things are difficult for her so she will use her right side more often. She walks with a pronounced limp and over time has overpowered several types of prosthetics that for most children, help them. Now we get to the walk aide! This device is absolutely perfect for her. It sits right below her left knee and with its electrodes, activates the muscles in her left leg and picks up her foot which prevents her from dragging her foot. It is the only thing that has worked for her. It is also something that she will not out grow. As much as I DO NOT want to ask people for money, with her medical bills piling up, I have to swallow my pride and ask. Adalynn is such an amazing little girl and has perservered through many obstacles and she will have to for her entire life. Please help us help her! Thank you!
